We felt inspired to share our understanding of Cannabis, especially with those who are in the dark about its benefits and many uses. As our knowledge of the plant expanded so did our passion. We felt compelled to share what we have learned with those who have little or no understanding of the plant and its benefits. The stigma that exists due to the Cannabis Tax Act of 1937 is deep rooted in society and full of misinformation. Those who understand cannabis are equally passionate because they have used it and have experienced its benefits. The misinformation and laws surrounding cannabis have negatively affected society in biased and unfair ways. It’s time for that to change!

Our 83 line is devoted to the injustice of cannabis laws. It will pay tribute to urban streetwear and the role it’s played in cannabis culture. The 3 “I’s” are representative of jail bars and the unjust imprisonment of people for nonviolent cannabis offenses.

We make every possible effort to offer products made in the USA. For the items that don’t allow for that to happen, we carefully choose our sources, working hard to collaborate with companies with similar principles as ours.

Hemp cleans oxygen, water and nourishes the land. Hemp is a natural fiber that’s cultivated with low impact on the environment. It requires no irrigation, uses no pesticides, synthetic fertilizers or GMO seeds. It’s one of the most durable natural fibers on the planet. Hemp is the oldest textile, hemp material dates back as far as 8,000 B.C.E. Hemp fibers are far stronger and more durable than their cotton and synthetic counterparts, resulting in garments with a much longer lifespan. The strength of hemp creates textiles that get softer with age and repeated washing, but won’t lose integrity or shape like generic cotton. Garments built with hemp fabric wear-in beautifully and feel as if they become tailored for your body shape with age.

1)Machine wash cool, gentle with like colors, tumble dry, low heat.

2)Use earth-friendly and gentle detergents.

3)Do not use bleach or other cleaners like oxi-clean or products with enzymes. Do not use spot spray laundry cleaners.

4)Take care not to wash with garments with zippers, velcro or towels with texture as this will cause abrasion and pilling.

5)You can lay flat or line dry lighter weight garments, but do not expose to direct sunlight as this could cause fading. Tumble-drying heavier weight garments will help them retain their shape, as line drying can stretch the fibers.

We want to make sure you are totally psyched with your purchase. Eight Decades. gladly accepts returns of new/unused, unworn, unwashed and defective merchandise within 30 days of purchase. Items should be in like new condition – in the condition in which they were received and if they have any signs of wear they will not be accepted for return.

We do not accept returns of promotional items or final sale items. All markdown items are final sale.

Customers returning items for refund are responsible for return shipping costs. Return shipping charges will be waived for all exchanges. All initial shipping costs are non-refundable.

While we want to be sure our customers are happy, we also want to be sure the planet is happy. We feel offering free shipping sends the message that there is no cost to our environment when we transport goods. While no business can call itself 100% sustainable–because we all have a footprint of some kind– we do our best to mitigate our negative impact and carbon emissions whenever possible. If you would like to request a return or an exchange, please complete a Return Merchandise Request. We will provide a shipping label for you to send your items back. If you are exchanging an item, the shipping charges are on us. If you are returning your order in full and you choose to use the prepaid label, we will deduct the standard return shipping charge of $8 from your refund.

Exchanges for products will be processed and shipped as soon as your items have been scanned into the carrier’s system. For returns please allow 5-7 business days for us to process your refund. 

Exchange items will be refunded to the original form of payment in the event an item goes out of stock.

Once we hand your package off to the post office it is out of our control and the post office is responsible for it.  If you have questions regarding the location of your package you will need to contact your local post office or package carrier as soon as possible.
